The Carbon Laser Peel, also known as the ‘China Doll Peel’ (named for its porcelain doll like finish to the skin), is an innovative laser resurfacing treatment that utilises the power of laser energy and the gentleness of carbon to treat skin imperfections on the face. The Carbon Laser Peel works to restore the skin’s sebum balance whilst promoting a fresh and even facial glow. As the treated skin regenerates, the appearance of uneven colour and texture becomes visibly clearer and more uniform in texture.
The Carbon Laser Peel treatment works by applying a thin layer of carbon to the skin’s surface. Once the facial carbon mask is evenly distributed, a Q-Switched Laser is directed to the area. The carbon particles absorb toxins and excess oils on the skin and the laser energy is attracted to the black colour of the carbon. The Laser energy explodes the carbon.
